    Team Rubicon Canada (TR Canada) is seeking an Operations Support Associate - Mobilization . Mobilizing our Greyshirts into the field to help communities in need is critical to our mission. You are a dedicated, meticulous professional who thrives on organization and clear communication. Reporting to the Operations Support Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting our mission by ensuring that the right volunteer, whom we affectionately call Greyshirts, is at the right place, at the right time, participating in the right activity. As the Operations Support Associate - Mobilization, you will be responsible for growing our trained volunteer base through effective outreach, meticulous information management, and providing comprehensive travel support.

    The right person is a dynamic self-starter and team player with excellent oral and written communication skills. This position can be hybrid or remote with some travel required.

    Duties:

    • Mobilization of volunteers through internal information systems and external service providers.
    • Coordination of travel requirements between volunteers and leaders, for training and operations.
    • Outreach as required to Greyshirt volunteers.
    • Assistance in the onboarding of volunteers.
    • Support in data input and analysis for informed decision-making.
    • Lead or manage the streamlined mobilization process to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve a seamless transition of volunteers from their home location to the training event and back.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Experience and Background

    • A minimum of 1 year experience in volunteer management or a related field is required.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Teams, with an ability to adapt to new technology.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact diplomatically and professionally at all times.
    • Strong organizational skills, with an aptitude for prioritizing and managing conflicting demands.
    • Knowledge of and ability to apply policies and procedures in dynamic environments.
    • Critical skills include attention to detail, client/customer focus, and time management.
    • Desired traits include professionalism, resourcefulness, and a capacity for independent work.
    • Familiarity with Asana Project Management software is preferred.
    • Passion for the mission and values of TR Canada.
    • Experience volunteering with TR Canada (preferred).

    Job Type:

    • Salary range: $ 55,000 to $65,000

    Special Requirements:

    • Military veterans are strongly encouraged to apply.
    • Access to a stable internet connection for a hybrid work environment.
    • Ability to work non-traditional hours, including weekends and evenings.
    • Occasional travel, including overnight travel across North America.
    • Must be comfortable working in austere conditions when required.
    • Fluency in both of Canada's Official Languages would be considered an asset.
