Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for routine maintenance on pumps
Diagnose and repair a variety of pumps
Inspect & test a wide range of submersible pumps as well as diesel engine water pumps
Utilize diagnostic software, tools, and equipment to assist in troubleshooting
Detect malfunctions through observations (sound or visual)
Repair broken or faulty machine parts
Perform emergency repairs
Align and calibrate machine parts
Monitor and report on project progress
Follow safety rules and regulations
Ability to document all aspects of day to day work i.e., work orders, parts requests, field service reports, etc.
Working on wide range of pipeline & construction equipment from small to large
Willing to learn new products/equipment with enthusiasm
Being a team player, helping other departments as needed
Travel to customers sites to provide troubleshooting and equipment repairs as needed
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Pump Technician with extensive pump experience is a
must (3"10" submersible pumps as well as with 4x4 to 12x12 diesel driven water pumps)
Experience with pipeline testing equipment
Valid Class 5 driver's license
Ability to work well with other staff and customers
Pride in keeping a clean and orderly work zone
Selfmotivated and able to work with mínimal supervision
Have a positive attitude for all aspects of equipment repairs and maintenance

Working Conditions

Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs.
Travel may be necessary
Overtime and weekends may be required
Working environment is indoors and outdoor in all weather conditions.
