We are looking for an experienced Production Manager for our professional services firm (Accounting) to organize and oversee the workflow of files throughout our offices.

You will be ultimately responsible for the smooth management of workflows, hitting deadlines and the communication within the firm.

We expect you to have dedication to maintaining processes and procedures. Ability to direct personnel towards maximum performance will set you apart as a leader. Decision-making and problem-solving will take up a great part of your day. If you are up to it, we'd like to talk to you.

The goal is to ensure an efficient and productive process that meets client expectations and Canada Revenue Agency deadlines.


Production Manager Professional Services responsibilities include:

  • Liaising with other managers and directors to formulate objectives and understand requirements
  • Organizing workflow to meet specifications and deadlines
  • Enforce WIP (work in progress) turnaround time
  • Weekly internal reporting of file statuses to Directors
  • Proactive planning for incoming files and budgeting
  • Determine the number of resources needed (# of staff, training required, and manage kickoff meeting schedules)

Requirements and skills

  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience as production leader
  • Deep knowledge of production management
  • An understanding of quality standards of CPA an asset
  • Experience in reporting on key production metrics
  • Outstanding communication ability
  • Excellent organizational and leaderships skills
  • Advanced attention to detail
  • Strong decisionmaking skills and a resultsdriven approach
  • Accounting, business administration or relevant field is preferred
