    Description

    Join Reddit's Gold and Contributor Program team, driving an innovative initiative that allows users to convert Reddit Gold into real money through the "Contributor Program." Our small, fast-paced engineering team seeks experienced engineers who understand product strategy, applying creative technical solutions.

    We are hiring a Staff Android Engineer who can lead the team to move incredibly fast while delivering a quality product.

    You'll work on the highest impact project in a team of brilliant engineers like yourself. In addition to building technology, you'll contribute to the product and business strategy.
    Design, build and ship Android client features for users to monetize their contributions on Reddit.
    Move fast while balancing quality. We need people who can balance speed with quality while quickly building brand-new products.
    We give everyone a seat at the table and encourage active participation in planning for the future. Work closely with product managers and designers to craft compelling user experiences.
    5+ years mobile development experience with multiple parts of the Android stack. We develop with Kotlin. On our team, everyone needs to act like a startup CEO.

    You must be able to collaborate effectively with teams in a fully-remote environment, and discuss complex topics with technical and non-technical audiences.

    ~ Experience mentoring engineers, owning team processes, and leading cross-functional projects is preferred.
