Job Overview

Reports to: Senior EHS Specialist

Location: Sparwood, BC

Shift: 5x2: Monday to Friday

Term: 4 Months: May- August

Relocation: This position does not offer relocation

Key Job Responsibilities

Collecting and entering data from documents (hard copes) into the corporate EHS software/database
Compiling, verifying accuracy and sorting information to prepare source data for computer entry
Reviewing data for deficiencies or errors, maintaining accurate records and correcting any incompatibilities before data is entered
Become familiar with the corporate EHS software/database

Qualifications/Requirements

Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program.
Students in a Construction Safety Officer program or Occupational Health and Safety program preferred
Familiarity with administrative duties/data entry
Excellent knowledge of computers; correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation
Attention to detail
Confidentiality
Organization skills, with an ability to stay focused on assigned tasks
