- Post-secondary education in environmental, geoscience, or engineering related field
- Minimum 7 years of experience with contaminated site assessment and remediation field programs, including project management experience
- Valid driver's license and regular access to a reliable vehicle required for occasional travel to job sites/clients

- Participate in all facets of contaminated site projects including Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) and remediation projects, field sampling, and reporting
- Conduct field (data-collection) programs involving sampling and monitoring of soil, groundwater, surface water, vapour and remediation system operation and maintenance
- Review and analyze data, design assessment and remediation programs, and prepare technical reports
- Plan, report and track schedules and budget, all as part of project financial management

- Full-time, permanent role with flexible scheduling available (core hours are Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm)
- Minimum of a degree or a technical diploma in environmental science, engineering, geology, hydrogeology, or environmental related studies
- Ideally a minimum of 7 years of experience in contaminated site work including managing and leading environmental site assessments (Phase II), soil and groundwater sampling, and remediation program sampling, and remediation programs
- Experience working in the energy sector is a significant asset.
- Experience with various contaminants of concern including hydrocarbons, salinity, and/or sampling for PFAS is a significant asset
- Experience with various remedial techniques (e.g. excavation, biological treatment, in-situ treatment/remediation, risk assessment, reclamation) is an asset
- Knowledge and practical application of health & safety requirements unique to oil and gas facilities, construction sites, subsurface investigations, and contaminated sites
- Work well independently or in small teams including ability to work alone in remote locations and adapt to conditions/resources

In this position, you'll take on full project management responsibilities, for a variety of programs related to the assessment, monitoring, management, and remediation of contaminated sites.
