    Crowdlinker is a digital product studio with a customer-centric approach, connecting companies with their clients through technology. Based in Toronto and Barcelona, we are dedicated to excelling in digital strategy, creative design, website and web/mobile app development, and digital marketing.

    UX/UI Designer Role (Contractor Opportunity)

    Please note: This is an open posting for future positions on a remote, contract, hourly basis. We prefer candidates in the EST timezone or those able to work EST hours.

    If you're a Product Designer, you'll be fully engaged in the product development journey, using your skills in UX/UI, product and interaction design to create innovative web and mobile products. Your role will involve collaborating with designers, developers, and a product lead to bring a variety of products to life.

    Responsibilities

    • Create and manage design user stories.
    • Plan and deliver business requirements, user personas, journey maps, and design briefs.
    • Develop site maps, wireframes, user flows, and prototypes.
    • Collaborate with the engineering team and ensure visual quality throughout the development process.
    • Establish design guidelines and standards.
    • Iterate design based on feedback from the team, clients, and users.
    • Understand user behavior and needs through customer interactions.
    • Take ownership of your design work and drive improvements.
    • Generate ideas to enhance our clients' product offerings.

    Requirements

    Experience:

    • 3+ years in designing and shipping digital products.
    • Degree in digital design or related field.
    • Proficient in Figma.
    • Experience with the design process, iterative design, and end-to-end development collaboration.
    Must-haves:
    • Creative and analytical problem-solving skills.
    • Effective communication and presentation abilities.
    • Strategic thinking and vision for design.
    • Time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
    • Collaborative team player mindset.
    • Curiosity and a questioning attitude.
    Nice-to-haves:
    • Certifications in Design Thinking or User Experience.
    • HTML, CSS, and familiarity with WordPress, Shopify, React.
    • Experience with PLG solutions and copywriting.
    • Designing for mobile applications and brand guidelines.
    • Knowledge of typography, color, and design principles.
    • Estimation and budget management for designs.
    • Quality assurance experience.
