    Description
    Truck Mechanic and Shop Supervisor
    Overtime available

    • Day Shift
    • Medical Benefits
    Supervise two full time mechanics, ensure repairs are done efficiently and effectively
    Report on a daily basis to the president regarding status of repairs, expected downtime of equipment and trucks that require repair
    o Bring records up to date in the computer system - there are files for every vehicle and they must keep every yellow circle check for every vehicle
    Manage Office/Shop and Facilities Maintenance (HVAC) - has shop employees complete required work (change light bulbs etc.)
    Receive complaints from employees regarding maintenance deficiencies on the trucks
    Correctly utilize the Maintenance function in the ERP program (Jonas). Take repair forms and upload information in the appropriate maintenance record file
    Must be licensed for truck and trailer (310T & 310S) and able to sign off on safety certificates
    Familiar with heavy trucks, excavators, loaders, backhoes, flusher trucks, hydro-vacuum truck, dump trucks, trailers, small portable equipment (they also have tri-axle, single-axle, and flusher trucks)
    Must have G license and clear driver's abstract to drive company vehicle
    Knowledgeable on the use and operation of computers
    Occasionally required for emergency calls on the weekend
