    Asa member of the Department of Marketing and Communications (M&C), theSenior Marketing Strategist will work closely with senior leaders at NAIT toprovide guidance on marketing strategies that will make a meaningful impact oninstitutional goals and objectives.

    Weare looking for a motivated, strategic, get-it-done marketer who will lead ateam of Marketing Specialists in delivering impactful marketing solutions toone of the key business units at NAIT – Corporate and Continuing Education(CCE). As the M&C representative member of CCE's leadership team, you willgain a deep understanding of their departmental vision, goals, and projectswhile also having the ability to provide input from a marketing lens. You willbe seen as the subject matter expert of the client area and will have theability to influence decisions made within M&C and with the client.

    Reportingto the Senior Marketing Manager, you will work in a fast-paced, agileenvironment to execute marketing projects from planning, brainstorming andconcept through to design, implementation and measurement. You will be a keyplayer in executing B2B, B2C and campaigns by leveraging NAIT's full marketingtechnology stack. Your strong technical expertise and know-how in leadgeneration strategies, conversion rate optimization, SEO, digital and socialadvertising, email marketing, content marketing, web development, and analyticsand insights will help NAIT reach revenue and enrolment targets.

    KeyResponsibilities:

    StrategicMarketing Consultation and Project Planning

  • Attend the client's leadership and businessplanning meetings as a representative of M&C.
  • Develop a deep understanding of client goals,objectives, challenges and identify how marketing can be impactful.
  • Identify marketing opportunities that alignwith client goals and present them to members of M&C.
  • Develop overarching marketing strategies forthe client in terms of brand awareness and lead generation.
  • Leverage existing data and information onpersonas, customer journeys and segmenting target audiences in order to deliverpersonalized marketing and brand experiences.
  • Audit current marketing strategies and workswith clients to identify target audiences, objectives, key messages and usesbest practice to achieve strategic marketing goals.
  • Operate with a design-thinking mindset, putyourself in the shoes of our students, customers and end-users in order toengage them seamlessly across all marketing touch points.
  • Seek, analyze and apply market research toinform projects and campaigns.
  • Identifies opportunities across paid, earnedand owned media that support NAIT's business goals
  • Write strategic marketing plans, identifyingtrends to ensure competitive positioning.
  • Manage marketing budgets and assist withreconciling monthly expenses.
  • Executionand Optimization

  • Form and lead cross-functional teams withinM&C that will contribute to a project or campaign.
  • Lead the execution of digital marketing plans,leveraging the power of automation and AI across various platforms for: displayand programmatic advertising, search (SEM, SEO), social media marketing, emailmarketing, and content marketing.
  • Critically analyze and optimize digitalmarketing campaigns and strategies to ensure budgets are spent to maximize ROI,target audiences are reached, and measurable impact on goals is achieved.
  • Leverage data to deliver precision marketing tomaximize audience engagement.
  • Copywrite and edit for a variety of mediaincluding email marketing, promotional materials and advertising.
  • Work closely with web, brand and communicationscolleagues, to maintain quality control and ensure projects are delivered ontime and on budget.
  • Review, provide feedback, and approve the workof direct reports.
  • Monitor and deliver insights on opportunitiesthat improve our KPIs (leads, conversions, add to carts, applicationsubmissions, etc.), inform new marketing processes, and optimize digitaloperations.
  • Develop reporting and share findings withmultiple stakeholders and use information in making data-drivenrecommendations.
  • Leadership:

  • Lead a team of two Marketing Specialists whoare dedicated in supporting CCE.
  • Lead the development of best practices andprocesses that can assist with delivering marketing solutions and a consistentclient experience
  • Delegating tasks responsibilities to directreports and other M&C members for campaigns and projects.
  • Be an empathetic and caring leader. Practicecompassion and active listening.
  • Lead by example in identifying and overcomingchallenges or obstacles.
  • Create an environment where your directreports, as well as your peers, can thrive, take risks, make mistakes, andreach their potential.

  • Skills& Abilities:

  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects andcampaigns end-to-end.
  • Experience in leading people, either formallyor informally.
  • Demonstrated ability to work closely withclients, deliver exceptional client service, and resolve any conflicts in acollaborative and professional manner.
  • Demonstrated experience and clear understandingof content marketing and inbound marketing.
  • Experience setting up paid advertisingcampaigns on platforms such as Google (display and search), Facebook, LinkedIn,and Instagram.
  • Experience with creating engaging and effectiveemail marketing campaigns.
  • Experience or knowledge of implementing SEObest practices.
  • Strong foundational understanding of privacylegislation (CASL, GDPR) and cybersecurity.
  • Analytical and reporting mindset with a focuson demonstrating the ROI of marketing activities.
  • Experience using personalization, behavioraldata and customer segmentation for marketing strategies.
  • Strong copywriting skills for all marketingchannels (print, digital, out-of-home).
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills tocommunicate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Qualifications:

  • Possesses a bachelor's degree or diploma inbusiness, marketing, communications, or a related field. A combination ofmarketing experience and education will be considered.
  • Minimum 6 years of marketing and advertisingexperience, with experience developing and executing strategic marketing plansacross a variety of platforms.
  • Google Ads Certifications is an asset.
  • Knowledge of Agile Methodology is an asset
  • Remuneration : $79, $105,715.48 annually,plus a comprehensive benefits package.
