    As
    a member of the Department of Marketing and Communications (M&C), the
    Senior Marketing Strategist will work closely with senior leaders at NAIT to
    provide guidance on marketing strategies that will make a meaningful impact on
    institutional goals and objectives.

    We
    are looking for a motivated, strategic, get-it-done marketer who will lead a
    team of Marketing Specialists in delivering impactful marketing solutions to
    one of the key business units at NAIT – Corporate and Continuing Education
    (CCE). As the M&C representative member of CCE's leadership team, you will
    gain a deep understanding of their departmental vision, goals, and projects
    while also having the ability to provide input from a marketing lens. You will
    be seen as the subject matter expert of the client area and will have the
    ability to influence decisions made within M&C and with the client.

    Reporting
    to the Senior Marketing Manager, you will work in a fast-paced, agile
    environment to execute marketing projects from planning, brainstorming and
    concept through to design, implementation and measurement. You will be a key
    player in executing B2B, B2C and campaigns by leveraging NAIT's full marketing
    technology stack. Your strong technical expertise and know-how in lead
    generation strategies, conversion rate optimization, SEO, digital and social
    advertising, email marketing, content marketing, web development, and analytics
    and insights will help NAIT reach revenue and enrolment targets.

    Key
    Responsibilities:

    Strategic
    Marketing Consultation and Project Planning

    • Attend the client's leadership and business
      planning meetings as a representative of M&C.
    • Develop a deep understanding of client goals,
      objectives, challenges and identify how marketing can be impactful.
    • Identify marketing opportunities that align
      with client goals and present them to members of M&C.
    • Develop overarching marketing strategies for
      the client in terms of brand awareness and lead generation.
    • Leverage existing data and information on
      personas, customer journeys and segmenting target audiences in order to deliver
      personalized marketing and brand experiences.
    • Audit current marketing strategies and works
      with clients to identify target audiences, objectives, key messages and uses
      best practice to achieve strategic marketing goals.
    • Operate with a design-thinking mindset, put
      yourself in the shoes of our students, customers and end-users in order to
      engage them seamlessly across all marketing touch points.
    • Seek, analyze and apply market research to
      inform projects and campaigns.
    • Identifies opportunities across paid, earned
      and owned media that support NAIT's business goals
    • Write strategic marketing plans, identifying
      trends to ensure competitive positioning.
    • Manage marketing budgets and assist with
      reconciling monthly expenses.

    Execution
    and Optimization

    • Form and lead cross-functional teams within
      M&C that will contribute to a project or campaign.
    • Lead the execution of digital marketing plans,
      leveraging the power of automation and AI across various platforms for: display
      and programmatic advertising, search (SEM, SEO), social media marketing, email
      marketing, and content marketing.
    • Critically analyze and optimize digital
      marketing campaigns and strategies to ensure budgets are spent to maximize ROI,
      target audiences are reached, and measurable impact on goals is achieved.
    • Leverage data to deliver precision marketing to
      maximize audience engagement.
    • Copywrite and edit for a variety of media
      including email marketing, promotional materials and advertising.
    • Work closely with web, brand and communications
      colleagues, to maintain quality control and ensure projects are delivered on
      time and on budget.
    • Review, provide feedback, and approve the work
      of direct reports.
    • Monitor and deliver insights on opportunities
      that improve our KPIs (leads, conversions, add to carts, application
      submissions, etc.), inform new marketing processes, and optimize digital
      operations.
    • Develop reporting and share findings with
      multiple stakeholders and use information in making data-driven
      recommendations.

    Leadership:

    • Lead a team of two Marketing Specialists who
      are dedicated in supporting CCE.
    • Lead the development of best practices and
      processes that can assist with delivering marketing solutions and a consistent
      client experience
    • Delegating tasks responsibilities to direct
      reports and other M&C members for campaigns and projects.
    • Be an empathetic and caring leader. Practice
      compassion and active listening.
    • Lead by example in identifying and overcoming
      challenges or obstacles.
    • Create an environment where your direct
      reports, as well as your peers, can thrive, take risks, make mistakes, and
      reach their potential.
    • Lead career and professional growth
      conversations, set annual goals, and provide constructive feedback.

    Skills
    & Abilities:

    • Demonstrated ability to lead projects and
      campaigns end-to-end.
    • Experience in leading people, either formally
      or informally.
    • Demonstrated ability to work closely with
      clients, deliver exceptional client service, and resolve any conflicts in a
      collaborative and professional manner.
    • Demonstrated experience and clear understanding
      of content marketing and inbound marketing.
    • Experience setting up paid advertising
      campaigns on platforms such as Google (display and search), Facebook, LinkedIn,
      and Instagram.
    • Experience with creating engaging and effective
      email marketing campaigns.
    • Experience or knowledge of implementing SEO
      best practices.
    • Strong foundational understanding of privacy
      legislation (CASL, GDPR) and cybersecurity.
    • Analytical and reporting mindset with a focus
      on demonstrating the ROI of marketing activities.
    • Experience using personalization, behavioral
      data and customer segmentation for marketing strategies.
    • Strong copywriting skills for all marketing
      channels (print, digital, out-of-home).
    • Excellent interpersonal communication skills to
      communicate with internal and external stakeholders

    Qualifications:

    • Possesses a bachelor's degree or diploma in
      business, marketing, communications, or a related field. A combination of
      marketing experience and education will be considered.
    • Minimum 6 years of marketing and advertising
      experience, with experience developing and executing strategic marketing plans
      across a variety of platforms.
    • Google Ads Certifications is an asset.
    • Knowledge of Agile Methodology is an asset

    Remuneration: $79, $105,715.48 annually,
    plus a comprehensive benefits package.
