DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop and test oncology information system workflows
  • Custodian and developer of radiation treatment planning scripts and templates
  • Custodian of RT-DICOM PACS system
  • Colead oncology automation working group
  • Contribute and provide expertise in clinical oncology development projects and research
  • Coordinate and maintain data repository for oncology program policy & procedures
  • Coordinate the restoration / retrieval of previous radiation treatment planning DICOM data
  • Coordinate the submission of radiation oncology data for clinical trials
  • Participate in oncology system installation projects and upgrades when necessary
  • Assist / back up the Radiation Oncology Systems Administrator when necessary

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Bachelor university or college degree in a science or engineering related field
  • Clinical experience with MOSAIQ (or related) oncology information system
  • Clinical experience with Pinnacle (or related) radiation treatment planning system
Clinical experience with automation of workflows and processes" clinical experience with quality assurance and control procedures for oncology data management

  • Strong programming experience (such as Python, C, MatLab)
  • Strong and effective problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Selfdirected with ability to organize and prioritize workload
  • Superior communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple internal and external stakeholders
  • Proficiency in both official languages (English and French) will be considered an asset.
  • Vaccines (COVID19 and others) are a new hire requirement of the job unless you have an exemption based on medical or on a ground pursuant to the Ontario Human Rights Code
