Our building at 30 Victoria Street in Gatineau is in the heart of downtown. It has modern facilities, with collaborative work spaces, indoor parking and several restaurants nearby. Intent of the process
The immediate intent of this process is to staff 3 positions: 1 specified period (term) with bilingual imperative BBB/BBB linguistic profile, 1 indeterminate (permanent) with bilingual imperative BBB/BBB linguistic profile and 1 indeterminate (permanent) with bilingual imperative CBC/CBC linguistic profile.
A pool of partially qualified candidates may be established to fill positions at the same or equivalent group and level within the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer with varying tenures (such as specified period (term), indeterminate (permanent) and casual) as well as various linguistic profiles.Positions to be filled: 3

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATIONGraduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in economics, sociology or statistics. Note: Candidates must always have a degree. The courses for the specialization must be acceptable and may have been taken at a recognized post-secondary institution, but not necessarily within a degree program in the required specialization. The specialization may also be obtained through an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
EXPERIENCE
Significant* experience in conducting research or analysis
Experience in writing reports on complex** issues
Experience in providing advice and recommendations to management***
**Complex is defined as having one or more of the following characteristics: involving horizontal collaboration; involving multiple players; sensitive in nature; with competing interests; requiring considerations or management of risk. ASSET QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATIONMaster's degree from a recognized university in a field related to the position.
EXPERIENCE
Experience in developing and analyzing surveys and questionnaires
Experience in conducting statistical analysis with software such as SPSS, STATA, SAS, PYTHON or R.
Experience in conducting advanced quantitative analysis, such as multivariate regression, cluster analysis, trend analysis, or missing data imputation.
Experience in developing discussion guides or interview guides.
Experience in conducting qualitative analysis with text analytics software.
A minimum of one year (1) experience in participating in designing and conducting evaluation of programs, projects, initiatives, or policies.
