- Restore/repair property, providing quality work within a varied and productive environment. Although finishing and rough carpentry are the primary focus, you will be expected to utilize general construction skills including: cabinetry, drywall repairs, painting, etc.
- Ensure safety is first and foremost in all activities, at both a personal and a team level.
- Work both as part of a team and independently.
- Work with a "clean as you go" mentality.
- Assist other team members as required.
- Evidence of comprehensive general construction/restoration experience with a focus on residential (single family and multi unit) projects. A journeyman ticket is an asset, but not essential.
- The ability to follow construction drawings, scope of work, policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in construction.
- The ability to use and maintain all relevant tools and equipment.
- Able to quickly and accurately identify and estimate the quantity of materials required.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Clean criminal record as it relates to work.
- Valid BC Class 5 drivers license with satisfactory abstract.
