Our award-winning design-build firm is located just outside of Elmira, Ontario.Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a
Landscape Lead Hand to support our crews in Southwestern Ontario. In this role, you will read and interpret plans, structural drawings, and specifications to accurately build project features.
You will assist in the management of installation projects by determining the sequence of work, performing and delegating tasks to crew members to achieve on-time completion of projects.
In addition, you will communicate professionally with general contractors to update them on project details, and respond to concerns or requests.
This is a full-time, permanent position.- Have two to five years of experience across a broad range of landscaping construction site work (concrete, masonry, carpentry, site layout, site grading and water features);
- Can read and interpret scaled drawings and pay attention to all the details that make our playgrounds exceptional places for kids to play;
- Are comfortable and skilled operating a variety of landscape machinery;
- Recognize the importance of building to high quality standards we always aim to do a job exceptionally well the first time;
- Thrive in a busy work environment and respect project timelines and dates;
- Are willing to travel overnight (for which a generous travel allowance is provided.)
