OVERVIEW
Reporting to the Sous Chef, the Chef de Partie will assist the Sous Chef in preparing & presenting high quality Asian/Canadian cuisine for the Koi Lounge and 24/7 Eats.
Main responsibilities include but are not limited to food costing, inventory control, menu development, and maintaining the safety and cleanliness of the kitchens.
The Chef de Partie will also work closely with the Sous Chef & Director of Food & Beverage, to supervisor and mentor the BOH employees.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Accountable for upholding and developing standards of cleanliness, timing, uniform, grooming, production, food quality, and consistency
- Maintains inventory on all food products and monitors daily preparation and production of food
- Has the knowledge and skills to train all kitchen positions, systems, and use of equipment
- Must be knowledgeable of all promotions and events for the week/month
- Manages the kitchen and upholds all policies, and operating procedures
- Mentors and coaches BOH employees on a daily basis
- Responsible for providing professional and exceptional customer service in accordance with established company standards
- Responsible for supervising, documenting and coaching all BOH employees under your direct supervision to ensure they are adhering to the company customer service standards
- All other job duties assigned
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Ability to succeed in a team environment
- Demonstrated excellence in customer service
- Excellent organizational skills and highly proficient at multitasking
- Excellent Written and Oral Communication Skills
- Minimum 2 years' Asian Cooking experience
- Asian Professional Cooking Diploma an asset
- Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook an asset
- Flexible working hours as Parq is a 24 hour operation
CERTIFICATES AND/OR LICENSES REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to obtain a valid GPEB registration
- Ability to complete all BCLC required trainings
- Food Safe Certification
- Serving it Right Certification
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Able to lift, handle, and transport materials that are over 20lbs
- Required to sit, stand and walk during working hours
