    Description

    This role involves direct collaboration with our design, product, frontend, and backend development teams to define and deliver first-class sports betting experience.

    As a company, we are design and UX-focused, we believe in turning complex problems into aesthetically beautiful and simple interfaces.

    Sportsbook Engagement has high visibility and develops features that have a direct impact on the product and the user experience.

    Develop, scale, and optimize gRPC endpoints, GraphQL APIs, and SQL queries
    Solve technical problems of the highest scope and complexity
    ensuring highest level of code quality and test coverage
    Participate in the design, architecture, and delivery of new features in a collaborative agile/scrum environment
    Setting up monitoring and alerting with DataDog, Bugsnag, PagerDuty, Splunk
    A solid foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, distributed systems, algorithms and software design
    Passionate about clean code architecture and software craftsmanship
    Experience with modern web framework and API development (Phoenix, Ruby on Rails, Sinatra, Django, Laravel, Node)

    A strong grasp and experience with relational databases; Experience with testing frameworks such as ExUnit, RSpec, Jest, pytest or equivalent.

    A strong grasp and experience with relational databases; including PostgreSQL and MySQL
    A passion for sports and/or gaming is considered an asset.


    NICE TO HAVE:

    Experience with Kubernetes, Kafka, building GraphQL APIs (Absinthe),hexagonal architecture, Domain Driven Development, contribution to open source software, experience working at startups, passion for sports and/or esports.
