    Description

    Job Title:

    Exciting Opportunity for MERN Stack Developer

    Are you a seasoned MERN Stack Developer located in Mississauga, ON? This contract position offers a hybrid work model.


    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
    • Proven experience in backend development as a MERN Stack Developer.
    • Strong frontend skills in JavaScript and TypeScript with a focus on micro frontend design. UX/UI Design knowledge is a plus.
    • Backend expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, microservices design pattern, and distributed systems.


    Cloud Infrastructure Experience:

    • Must have strong skills in Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm. Exposure to Openshift, AWS cloud, and MS Azure is beneficial.


    Tech Delivery Experience:

    • Experience in CI/CD pipelines, Jira, and Scaled Agile methodology is preferred.


    Tools/ Technologies Used:

    • Knowledge of Kafka and MongoDB.

    Additional requirements include proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React for frontend technologies. Extensive server-side development expertise in , , and related technologies is essential. A deep understanding of MongoDB, data modeling, and optimization is required. Familiarity with RESTful web services, API development, authentication, and authorization mechanisms are important. Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, as well as containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes. Proficiency in Git for code versioning and agile development practices. Strong problem-solving skills, a proactive learning attitude, and the ability to collaborate within a team environment are desired.
