PIB is looking for a motivated individual to join our Group Benefits' organization.

Details/ResponsibilitiesAs a Group Benefits Associate, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the growth of our business.
Your responsibilities will include :
Leading by example, living our values, and driving business relationships for the company by providing exceptional customer service.
Supporting our advisors in cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with clients for all benefits-related inquiries and needs.
Collaborating with insurance companies to ensure the seamless operation of benefits plans and addressing any issues or inefficiencies.
Conducting thorough market studies to evaluate the competitive landscape and provide strategic insights for both prospective and existing clients.
Analyzing proposals from carriers with a keen eye for detail, assessing their suitability to ensure they align with client objectives.
Guiding clients through the implementation of new benefits plans, as well as any necessary plan amendments or carrier transitions.
Facilitating member education sessions alongside advisors.Upholding our commitment to delivering superior service by resolving client issues promptly and effectively.
Staying abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in the group benefits landscape and identify new business opportunities.
Developing educational materials, presentations, and resources to support business development initiatives and enhance the client experience.Requirements
To excel in this role, you should possess:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in the group insurance industry, with a focus on employee benefits.
Strong time-management, communication, decision-making, and organizational skills, with an emphasis on client relations.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and a demonstrated ability to take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional written, oral, and interpersonal skills, allowing you to effectively collaborate with clients, carrier partners, and internal stakeholders.
Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Proficiency in computer skills, including experience with client management systems.
Preference will be given to candidates holding a Group Benefits Associate (GBA) designation, and bilingualism is considered an asset.
