What You'll Do:


As a Portfolio Planner, you will play a crucial part in implementing best practice project planning principles at both Corporate and Project levels.

You will be responsible for advising projects on NPI's governance around schedule development and requirements, including consistency of reporting, conducting planning workshops, and identification, analysis, and control of schedule risks on the project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implementation of Enterprise P6 cloud solution to facilitate management of schedules across the projects.
  • Support the project organizations in developing and maintaining time schedules.
  • Run planning workshops and facilitate regular meetings with key project team members and package managers.
  • Build and maintain a schedule assumption book for each project.
  • Provide detailed analysis including scenario analysis, milestone tracking, critical path and float analysis as required in the projects.
  • Generate relevant reports such as 3month and 6month lookaheads, deviation reports, and other required documentation.
  • Assist project organizations in preparing tender time schedules, ensuring alignment with project goals and requirements.
  • Ensure planning and progress reporting requirements are included in the tender documents and contract documents.
  • Review suppliers' time schedules and ensure that they comply with the overall construction schedules.
  • Report project progress, performance and forecast on a regular basis.
  • Ensure the installation sequence is defined, optimized, and aligned to the project strategy and rest of the schedule.
  • Facilitate that appropriate weather downtime are accurately estimated and implemented where applicable.
  • Run schedule risk analysis, advising on P50, P90 schedules as required.

  • A strong Communicator: You possess excellent English communication skills, enabling you to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience

  • Equivalent expertise to PMI-SP (PMI Project Scheduling Professional) certification.
  • 5+ years of relevant industry experience: A background in Oil & Gas or Renewable Energy industries is preferable.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6: A deep understanding and practical experience with Primavera P6 is mandatory for this role.
