The Responsible Gambling Council (RGC) is a leading international authority on responsible gambling—providing insights to industry stakeholders through its research and problem gambling prevention programs, as well as accrediting responsible gambling initiatives offered by gaming companies across the globe.

Based in Toronto, RGC operates independently from the gaming industry, allowing it to offer unbiased insights and services related to responsible gambling.


Reporting to the Associate Director, Accreditation, the RG Check Program Analyst will interact directly with clients, clearly communicating information requests, managing expectations and delivering findings.

You are responsible for assessing compliance with established criteria and indicators by collecting and examining records, reports, operating practices, surveys, and interviews.

Findings are detailed, documented and communicated in a final report and presentation.

The role involves executing the accreditation process which includes the following key responsibilities:

  • Communicating and scheduling the various requirements and steps of accreditation process with gambling operators
  • Collecting and analyzing corporate and operational documents and materials including ensuring such documents remain confidential and treating privileged information with discretion
  • Planning, coordinating and conducting venue visits, site assessments, employee interviews, and employee and player surveys
  • Analyzing and assessing documentation and data against established standards
  • Documenting the accreditation findings and reporting the results
  • Writing, editing and formatting business reports and presentations
This position requires exceptional analytical and writing skills, as well as communication and organizational skills. A high level of professionalism is required.

Travel throughout Canada and internationally will be required at times (approximately one to two weeks, two to three times a year).


Salary range:
$47,800 to $59,700 per annum, plus excellent benefits.

Education and Experience

  • Minimum of 13 years of experience working in an office environment
  • Strongly proficient in Excel and/or other data analysis software
Required Skills and Attributes

  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills; able to clearly and concisely identify key points and organize them in a logical manner
  • Good verbal communication and interview skills; ability to interact with employees from a variety of positions from frontline to senior level
  • Ability to remain objective and consider all relevant information and data
  • Detailoriented
  • Excellent report writing and editing skills
  • Project coordination and scheduling experience
  • Ability to organize and analyze data
  • Ability to identify anomalies and escalate to senior employees for further input and resolution
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and achieve deliverables
  • Selfmotivated and able to function independently within a team environment
  • Knowledge of the gaming industry, including iGaming and Sports Betting, is an asset
  • Experience working with diverse populations, cultural awareness, and ability to communicate in an inclusive and equitable manner
  • Fluency in a second language in addition to English is an asset
  • Valid Driver's License and Passport
  • Alignment with RGC's
