- Graduate of a Library Technician Program with an emphasis on media and digital literacies
- Experience working with students aged 3 to 12
- Competence in the effective use of online Library databases and other digital and online resources
- Keen interest in and understanding of emerging technologies
- Advanced familiarity with library OPACs (Destiny) is an asset
- Physical ability to perform shelving duties

Our Learning Commons (Library) serves as the heart of our community, providing a space for students, faculty, and staff to engage, discover, and grow.
The Learning Commons (Library) Co-ordinator, Junior School, oversees the daily programming and operations of the Learning Commons area for our Junior School, focusing on creating a welcoming environment that is conducive to learning. They collaborate with community members to co-create resource guides and recommend resource materials to faculty and students. Collaborating with other Learning Commons staff, they identify the necessary information technology competencies and information literacy skills and work with faculty to weave those skills into student curriculum aligned learning. The LC Co-ordinator works in a procedural, consensus-building manner with faculty, students, parents, and staff in keeping with the school's vision, mission and values.
