About the Position
Full time Utility - this is an entry level position in a large lentil/pea processing plant in Vanscoy, Saskatchewan.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • In order to meet the requirements of this job posting, the applicant will be crosstrained in all operational positions to facilitate operational needs
  • This position also includes general sanitation duties following established GMP's for our food safety programs
  • Adhering to Safety Rules, GMP, HACCP, and Food Safety protocols is crucial
  • Duties include but are not limited to material handling and light maintenance

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • The successful applicant must be able to work from heights, stand, sit, kneel, crawl, and bend
  • May be required to lift 55 lbs. / 22 kg.
  • Needs to be able to work in a variety of hot, cold, or wet conditions
  • Shift work, overtime, and weekends will be required
  • Basic computer skills, numeracy and record accuracy are also necessary to succeed at this role
  • There is room for further advancement in this role
