Purpose and Scope:

As a member of the maintenance team, the Maintenance Scheduler reports to the Maintenance Manager. The maintenance scheduler is responsible for the administration and implementation of the maintenance quality operating systems. This will include the administration of machine preventive and predictive maintenance. Responsibilities also include purchasing, inventory systems, supplies, and wears and spares availability.

  • Systems certified to IATF16949/ISO9001 including all predictive and preventive maintenance, wears and spares inventory control, and machine program library retention and organization
  • Ontime delivery of customer requirements for APQP, PPAP, and production startup
  • Work in compliance with Stackpole EP Safety, Environmental, Quality and Production Systems
  • Working with the Maintenance Systems Supervisor with respect to implementing maintenance systems and continuously improving longterm employee safety and welfare, and business economic success
  • Assist in materials acquisition and implementation
  • Assist in inventory control for all machine wears and spares
  • Ensuring the adherence to ISO 45001, ISO 14001, IATF 16949, and ISO 9001 all Stackpole International policies and any other industry standards in all activities
  • Assist in the implementation of Automotive Operating Systems including APQP, PPAP, and QOS as per IATF16949/ISO9001 Standards as they relate to Facilities Engineering. This includes the machine program libraries
  • Ensuring ongoing support for Operations, Quality, and Facilities management with respect to ongoing maintenance operation
  • Coordinate continuous improvement initiatives
  • Perform other related duties as required

Qualifications, Education And/or Experience:


  • A diploma in mechanical or controls technology preferred
  • 35 year of experience in the handson process development of CNCbased machining and/or automated assembly operations (Manufacturing)
  • 35 years holding a position similar to a Maintenance Planner/Scheduler
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Understanding of automotive systems and quality requirements based on ISO/TS 16949 Operating Systems
  • Excellent communication, negotiating, conflict management, and problemsolving skills.
  • Program Management skills
  • Ability to interact and lead effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Able to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, at all levels of the organization
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation
