- Check and maintain all types of inside and outside wiring and conduits, fire alarm field wiring and internal supervisory circuits, fire alarm boxes, burglar alarm modules, area lighting, HVAC, motor and motor controls
- Install, repair and test electrical systems, lift stations, and emergency generators
- Diagnose and repair irrigation controls, computer cables and other related equipment
- Manage and delegate daily work assignments and ensure that all work performed is in compliance with Z-98 and the Canadian Electrical codes, and meets other regulations
- Estimate materials and equipment required to complete assigned tasks, and assist with the creation of purchase orders for materials and supplies as necessary
- Read and interpret electric schematics, rough sketches and blueprints and prepare as-built drawings
- Flags work sites to ensure job site safety and respond to emergency situations as needed
- Plan and implement the preventative and required maintenance of all buildings, lifts and lift maintenance equipment
- Operate and maintain a wide variety of pneumatic, electrical, electronic, and hydraulic tools and equipment associated with the electrical and construction trades
- Troubleshoot PLC's
- Keep work area safe and clean and report any damage, malfunction, misuse or abuse of any equipment or property
- Assist other departments with general maintenance needs as appropriate
- Compliance with all safety regulations of assigned tasks, and ensure a clean and safe working environment with active participation in the health and safety program
- Adhere to all environmentalpolicies and programs as required
- Other duties as assigned
- Minimum of 2 years' experience with 750-volt distribution and installation
- 2-4 years' experience in motor controls in addition to journeyman trade ticket

Description
The Electrical Team Lead is a key member of the Maintenance Department,working under the direction of the Lift Maintenance Supervisor and workingclosely with the Facility, Fleet, & Purchasing Manager as well as theMaintenance Administrator.
The candidate shall exhibit knowledge and have experience of tradeskills. The candidate will be responsible for leading varied programs such asseasonal lift shutdowns and the implementation of scheduled, seasonalmaintenance programs and special capital projects. The Electrical Team Lead shall possess anddemonstrate working knowledge of lift maintenance and ski hill operations. The candidate must be able to work in afast-paced, changing environment keeping safety of the crew and resort guests aforemost priority.
Accountabilities
· Work with Lift MaintenanceSupervisor and Maintenance Administrator to coordinate, execute and documentall lift and building related maintenance
· Working with team toschedule daily, weekly and seasonal maintenance schedules
· Identify and correct anyproblems found in resort lift equipment
· Adhere to assembly andinstallation instructions set forth in vendor manuals and specifications
· Actively be involved incoordination of preventative and predictive maintenance of all lifts and liftmaintenance equipment
· Maintain records of work completedand report on all lift maintenance and building related activities
· Assist with training LiftOperators to safely operate the lifts and perform routine checks
· Operate company equipmentsafely and effectively in accordance with company policies and within Z-98 codeas governed by BC Safety Authority
· Ensure ongoing compliancewith local and national standards and legislation
· Lead, motivate and manage electricalteam
· Keep work area safe andclean and report any damage, malfunction, misuse or abuse of any equipment orproperty
· Ensure safety of guests andemployees through proper training and adherence to company policies andprocedures
Requirements
· Certified JourneymenElectrician or Inter-provincial ticket
· Willingness to worktowards obtaining BC Field Safety Representative (FSR) Certification
· Previous experiencewith and working knowledge of hydraulics, machining and building maintenance
· Current, validDriver's License
· Sufficient ability toski or snowboard to access trails and resort areas
· Previous experiencereading and interpreting schematics, blueprints, plans and specifications
· Ability to operate andmaintain a variety of hand, power and shop tools and equipment used inelectrical installation, maintenance and repair work
· Thorough understandingof building, Electrical and Safety codes, ordinances and regulations
· Proficient with MSOffice and other basic computer systems and applications
