    The Role: Lead Software Engineer

    The Team: Market Data Engineering is responsible for real-time exchange data processing.

    Responsibilities & Impact: The Lead Software Engineer will be working closely with our Technical Architects and Software Engineers to prioritize and develop internal application initiatives.

    • Provide technical guidance and mentoring of team members both junior and senior
    • Ensure team-developed code meets company standards and practices
    • Developing timelines and roadmaps for application development while working with various stakeholders
    • Develop leading class software

    What We're Looking For:

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Experience in proven delivery of test-driven application development – planning, developing, quality assurance, and deployment
    • Proficiency in Modern C++. We write code primarily in C++ using features from C++11/14/17/20.
    • Experience with technology systems among SQL, CMake, and Git
    • Strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals, algorithms, and data structures.
    • Experience with concurrent programming and distributed systems.
    • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and building a large codebase using automation tools.
    • Experience in applying Test Driven Development to legacy code bases.
    • Real-time event processing background and high-throughput optimization skills.
    • Bachelor's and/or master's degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline or demonstrated projects if self-taught.
