Qualifications:

Essential:


  • Extensive experience providing administrative and secretarial support to executive and senior level staff including scheduling meetings, coordinating appointments and making travel arrangements
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to draft, format, edit and proofread correspondence with excellent attention to detail
  • Demonstrated political acumen and ability to effectively manage and maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize workloads and effectively manage deadlines and shifting priorities
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills to interact professionally with management and stakeholders and maintain strong working relationships
  • High level of experience coordinating the flow of correspondence and maintaining and managing electronic and physical files
  • Excellent problemsolving and decisionmaking skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Experience working with policies, procedures and guidelines

Desired:


  • Postsecondary education (e.g. diploma or certificate) in office or business administration from a recognized program is an asset
