    Description

    Job Title: Engineer / Engineering Trainee at Bruce Power

    We are currently looking for an Engineer / Engineering Trainee to join our Equipment Reliability Program section within the Engineering Support Department.

    This full-time position comes with a competitive benefits package and is based in Tiverton, Ontario.


    Responsibilities:
    • Provide technical assessments and solutions for engineering challenges
    • Support the maintenance and operation of Bruce Power facilities
    • Identify opportunities for improvement and address adverse conditions
    • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to meet business needs
    • Stay updated on industry best practices
    • Ensure accuracy of documentation and review equipment modifications
    • Participate in training programs and contribute to the development of others

    Requirements:
    • Advanced knowledge of processes, equipment, and systems impacting safety and performance
    • Strong communication skills for reports and recommendations
    • Experience in problem-solving, risk assessment, and technical evaluations
    • Ability to proactively identify and manage risks
    • Previous experience in reliability engineering or asset management is an asset
    • Familiarity with industry codes and standards related to nuclear operations

    Education and Experience:
    • Engineer: Completion of a 4-year University degree in Engineering, Ontario P.Eng designation required, 6-8 years' experience
    • Engineering Trainee: Completion of a 4-year University degree in Engineering, Professional Engineers of Ontario certification required, 2-4 years of experience
