About The Role
The Buying Manager is directly responsible for managing the buying team, executing the assortment planning, buys and achieving all department KPI's to ensure OVO's assortment strategy is brought to life accurately, on time and budget. The Buying Manager is responsible for:
In partnership with the Manager, Merchandise Planning, execute a strategy to support buying forecast, planning, execution and management for products across all categories and channels.
Accountable to deliver accurate and timely reports, analysis and post mortems, summarizing insights to identify opportunities and support decision making. Ensure data integrity is protected and all records are accurate. Partner cross functionally to understand what drives business at both a corporate and individual store/market level, and stay informed on industry trends and forecasts. Knowledgeable about the industry, stay current and up to date on our competition. Constantly seek to improve our systems, processes, and tools.
