Job Title:
Contractor Kinesiologist - Occupational Rehabilitation 2 and ASTD Program

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Contractor Kinesiologist to join our team and provide specialized support in the Occupational Rehabilitation 2 (OR2), Acute Soft Tissue Disorders (ASTD) programs and other services.

As a contractor, you will work on a project basis, collaborating with our team of healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive rehabilitation services to individuals recovering from work-related injuries.

Your expertise in kinesiology and occupational rehabilitation will play a vital role in helping our clients regain physical function and return to work successfully.

Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough assessments of clients' physical capabilities, functional limitations, and workrelated goals
Design and implement personalized treatment plans and rehabilitation programs based on individual clients' needs, incorporating evidencebased practices and kinesiology principles.
Provide handson guidance and instruction to clients on proper body mechanics, ergonomics, and exercises to improve strength, flexibility, coordination, and overall physical wellbeing.
Utilize modalities such as therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, joint mobilizations, and soft tissue techniques to facilitate recovery and enhance functional abilities.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists, physiotherapists, physicians, and psychologists, to ensure coordinated care and effective treatment outcomes.
Monitor and document clients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize recovery and facilitate timely returntowork outcomes.
Educate clients on injury prevention strategies, workplace ergonomics, and selfmanagement techniques to minimize the risk of reinjury.
Provide clear and concise written reports detailing assessment findings, treatment progress, and recommendations for future care.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Kinesiology or a related field.
Valid certification as a Kinesiologist from a recognized profesional association.
Availability to work 22.5 hours per week on week days
