Overview:

The Manager, Financial Reporting is a role that will support the Director, Accounting with finance transformation.

This is the perfect time to rebuild the Finance function with the right leadership focused on building scalable business processes and systems.

This role will also require coordination between the North American, EMEA and APAC finance teams.

There will be a focus on global consolidation, financial reporting, implementing, and maintaining a system of internal controls and policies that will ensure that company assets are adequately safeguarded and that all financial reporting is prepared in compliance with all financial policies and US GAAP.

As well as leading financial projects and audit functions.

Responsibilities:

Oversee monthly regional and global financial statement preparation, ensuring accuracy, driving continuous process improvement.
Lead the consolidation of financial statements to meet stakeholder requirements.
Research and recommend accounting policy in accordance with US GAAP for the company driving global consistency while supporting business objectives.
Drive continuous improvement projects that mitigate risk and drive efficiency in work processes for the Finance team.
Maintain ERP Chart of Accounts and ERP optimization for the company on a global basis.
Lead accounting and policy updates, chart of accounts usage, and guidance for accounting close procedures.
Conduct analysis in preparation for monthly operation / regional review calls.
Assist Manager of Accounting in monthend close duties including review and approval of journal entries and supporting schedules.
Ensure accounts are properly reconciled, and monitor account reconciliation systems, tools and controls in order to drive compliance and consistency across the company globally.
Oversee the completion of annual audited financial statements, including all key note disclosures.
Provide audit support including data requests & analysis related to annual external audit and other ad hoc audits.
Partner with external auditors to ensure audit timelines and requirements are met at an appropriate level.
Provide adhoc support related to due diligence, acquisitions, or other complex transactional areas.

Qualifications:

University graduation and professional certification (CPA).
Strong Excel skills and knowledge of accounting standards and principles (US GAAP specifically).
Direct experience in a Software as a Service ("SAAS") environment.
Proven experience and expertise with NetSuite and Adaptive is strongly preferred.
At least 8+ years of combined Public Accounting and Private Industry accounting experience within a multinational business.
Ability to work through complex and ambiguous situations.
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a highpressure environment.
Prior experience with multinational, multicurrency consolidation.
Prior experience with process deepdives and documentation of process flows with recommendation and implementation of process improvements.
Excellent communication and leadership skills are mandatory.
Demonstrated ability to form, lead and develop highperforming teams.
Ability to work collaboratively across departmental functions.
