    Description

    On behalf of our client, a national association with an important mandate in the agricultural sector, we are recruiting for a Bilingual Government Relations Officer.

    This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking build their Government Relations experience doing meaningful advocacy under experienced leadership.
    Working with the Director of Government Relations, duties include but are not limited to:
    Collaborate to develop strategies for various targeted government ministries across all levels of government
    Liaise with government representatives at all levels to position the organization as a trusted advisor and informed partner
    Post-secondary education in political science, communications or other relevant field
    Keen interest in agriculture, Canada's food chain and innovation
    Exceptional writing skills
    Bilingualism (French/English) is mandatory

    This role is a full time permanent position, offering a competitive salary of $60,000 to $75,000 together with comprehensive benefits package.

    This role is currently hybrid, with some requirement for attendance/participation at periodic corporate events.
