    Description

    Job Title: GCP Data Architect

    Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)

    Job Description:

    Required Skills:

    • 9+ years of hands-on technical working experience in the use of Azure Cloud and Google Cloud Platform for services such as:
    • Container Orchestration (Google Kubernetes Engine, Azure Kubernetes Services, App Service Environment)
    • Container Registry (Google Container Registry, Azure Container Registry)
    • Virtual Private Cloud (Cloud Load Balancing, Network Security Groups, Private Endpoints etc.)
    • IaaS Services (Compute, Azure Service Environments, App Engine, Autoscaler)
    • Storage Services (Google Cloud Storage, Azure Storage Accounts, Managed Disks)
    • Relational Database Services (Cloud SQL, AzureSQL Managed Instance)
    • 3+ years of hands-on technical working experience of using Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) Tools (e.g., Git plus Azure DevOps and/or Jenkins and/or GitHub Enterprise, etc.) for the purposes of maintaining pipelines.
    • 3+ years of hands-on technical working experience in implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) delivery pipelines using HashiCorp's Terraform.
    • 2+ years of hands-on technical working experience in implementing Terratest testing framework with GO programming language (Golang).
    • 3+ years of hands-on technical working experience in the use of Configuration Management & Automation tools (e.g., Perforce's Puppet and/or Red Hat Ansible and/or Progress Chef).
    • 5+ years of hands-on technical working experience with Bash and/or Powershell to develop automation & deployment utilities.
    • 3+ years of hands-on technical working knowledge of Cloud Security concepts.
    • 3+ years of hands-on technical working experience in providing L3 operational support on Azure Cloud and Google Cloud Platform services.
    • possess a sound knowledge of software development methodologies including Agile Scrum/Kanban and Waterfall.
    • demonstrate a proficiency in root cause analysis and problem solving in production support scenarios.
    • Completion of a post-secondary education in Computer Science, Engineering or in a related technology-based stream.
