    Description

    Summary

    Enerflex is seeking a Process Engineer in Training to grow into an engineering leader for significant projects in a vibrant manufacturing setting. This position involves overseeing the overall process performance of the plant, including generating and validating plant PFD's and H&MB. Additionally, responsibilities include providing support to the projects team in various areas:

    • Gas sweetening
    • Mole Sieve gas dehydration
    • High vapor pressure NGL's
    • Condensate stabilization
    • Hydrate mitigation
    • Flare modeling
    • NGL Fractionation
    • Utility Design (Instrument air, Heat medium, Cooling water, Drain system)

    Principle Responsibilities and Duties

    This role offers a diverse daily work environment, learning opportunities, and the chance to contribute value to ongoing gas processing projects. We are looking for someone with strong communication skills, adept problem-solving abilities, and sound decision-making skills. The ideal candidate should possess leadership qualities, organizational skills, clear objective setting abilities, and the capacity to track key performance indicators to achieve success in this role. Responsibilities also involve effective collaboration within a multi-stakeholder environment.

    • Review process flow and piping/instrument diagrams
    • Review general arrangements and 3D model
    • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness on assigned projects
    • Participate in HAZOP and SIL review meetings
    • Implement project specifications
    • Size PSV's and control valves based on process information
    • Size vessels and piping based on process information
    • Perform final checks on P&ID's Models and other project deliverables

    This role is designed to facilitate rapid development in the following areas:

    • Working knowledge of gas processing
    • Plant layout and its correlation with equipment design
    • Dimension pumps, heat exchangers, air coolers, and compressors
    • Pressure vessel and piping design
    • Dimension pressure relief valves, control valves, and piping

      • Qualifications

      • 0-3 Years of experience with an Engineering Degree (Chemical or Mechanical)
      • Current engineer in training designation (E.I.T)
      • Exposure with Aspen HYSYS or hands-on plant operations experience
