Associate Professor at Lebanese University Faculty of Sciences. I Had an engineering diploma in Electrical and Electronics. I have a teaching experience for more than 16 years, 

With over eighteen years of experience in teaching and 16 publications in different journals and various conferences, I am confident that we can share my skills to make a positive impact in your university. My love for teaching and my passion to learn the newest academic learning methodologies and strategies will play an important role in helping the university to deliver teaching excellence. 

I finished my Ph.D. in Biomedical Image Processing applied to ultrasound images with contrast agents, from Claude Bernard University, Lyon, France in 2009. I have experience teaching university-level students in a variety of settings. I taught at the Lebanese University, Faculty of Sciences, Computer Sciences department since 2009. I have been a teacher for 5 years in the School of Engineering, Electrical, and Communication department. Also, I taught some Master's courses at the Faculty of Economic and Management Sciences. Finally, I was employed as a part-time lecturer for 10 years at CNAM Institute. In addition, I got great expertise in collaboration with colleagues, scientific research, course syllabus propositions, academic students’ orientation, project supervision, and being a committee member in many master thesis and senior projects. I was also recruited as a referee in various science fair events and many robotics competitions dedicated to schools and universities.

During my time in teaching, I participated in many Quality Assurance workshops organized by the General Director of the Higher Education & the University Agency of the Francophonie that discussed excellence in teaching, learning, and innovation. On the other hand, I followed a variety of training programs that focus on learning and teaching strategies, memory strategies, academic excellence, active learning, digital learning, and STEM education. I believe that my excellent educational skills will be built a better environment for students and foster passion, creativity, excellence, and inspiration.

Bilal Ghazal

I have a computer and communication engineering diploma which provided me with a strong foundation in the fundamental principles of the field. After completing my diploma, I pursued a master's degree in modeling, simulation, and data processing at the Lebanese University. I achieved the first position in my class so I was granted a scholarship for three months at the EPFL (Echole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne) in Switzerland to complete my master's thesis. We worked on upgrading the Calcosoft software which is dedicated to the Aluminium industry where I learned advanced concepts in numerical analysis and mathematical calculation and gained valuable experience through this research project. My passion for research led me to pursue a Ph.D. in the classification of contrast-ultrasound medical imaging at Universite de Lyon, INSA, France. During my doctoral studies, I had the privilege of conducting in-depth research in the field of image processing dedicated to echocardiographic images with contrast agents and developing algorithms that help to differentiate between the biological tissues and the blood flowing in the vascular zones. Through my journey from an engineering diploma to a Ph.D., I have learned to approach challenges and adapt my skills to tackle complex problems.
