Who we need


Reporting to the Director of Pricing, and supporting our crucial valuation initiatives, we are looking for an
Actuary to guide the analysts on best practices and to provide hands-on implementation expertise within AXIS and Risk Integrity.


Impacting all aspects of financials from policy data through to management reporting, this is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience and an in-depth understanding of the new financial framework for insurance companies from the bottom up.

You will work on implementing, understanding, and explaining the results for valuation and across all relevant business areas.

What you will do
-
Design processes. You will design and build actuarial processes in alignment with the implementation of a modernized and repeatable reporting practice for the IFRS 17 accounting framework.

Collaborate. You will support the wider company initiatives related to implementing a new data warehouse and ERP system. You will nurture and strengthen connections with finance and non-finance business partners to provide a broad financial business view, support initiatives, and enhance reporting capabilities.


What you bring
-
The education and experience. You have a University degree in a quantitative field. You are a recently qualified FSA/FCIA with 5+ years of actuarial experience. You have expertise in developing processes and are highly proficient with GGY AXIS. Knowledge of IFRS 17 is an asset.
