    About the Job:




    The Registered Nurse:

    • Provides nursing care to patients, both by working independently and as a member of an interdisciplinary team
    • Enhances quality of life for the patient and family; consults, confers, and collaborates with other health care providers
    • Demonstrates continuous improvement and evidence based practice in nursing practice
    • Maintains and advances own clinical competence
    • Participates on designated hospital committees/teams and approved research projects as assigned
    This is a RELIEF FULL-TIME opportunity until October 24, 2024, or the return of incumbent. Shifts are rotating, with shift times of 07:00 to 15:52, 07:30 to 16:22, and 08:00 to 16:52. On-call is associated with this position.

    About this location/unit:

    The Royal Inland Hospital (RIH) is in the Thompson Cariboo Shuswap health service area and is one of two Interior Health tertiary referral hospitals.

    Located in Kamloops, RIH offers high-level, specialty medical care including core physician specialties, 24 emergency and trauma services, ambulatory and outpatient clinics, and diagnostic services.


    Kamloops is one of BC's sunniest cities and home to 90,000 residents. The city offers a large selection of restaurants and stores, arts scene and a full range of businesses.
