    An exciting opportunity exists for a Product Manager role at NAVBLUE for our Flight Operations Solutions. Navblue provides a comprehensive suite of software solutions for flight planning, performance optimization, crew management, and navigation services. These solutions are designed to help airlines improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance safety.

    The successful applicant will be the Product Manager of flight operations products including N-PBS and N-FP

    Navblue uses the SAFe lean and agile framework to develop its solutions. As per SAFe guidance:

    Product Management is responsible for defining and supporting the building of desirable, feasible, viable, and sustainable products that meet customer needs over the product-market life cycle. To do this, they collaborate with a wide range of people to identify and define customer needs, understand the Solution Context, and develop the Vision, Roadmap, and Features required to meet these needs. Then, they support the Agile Release Trains (ARTs) in delivering value through the Program Kanban and Continuous Delivery Pipeline. The Product Manager is a member of the ART leadership team, in collaboration with the Release Train Engineer and Solutons Architect.

    Responsibilities :

    Product Vision and Strategy: Participate in the product vision and strategy aligned with overall business goals, market trends, architectural runway and customer feedback.

    SAFe Framework Leadership: Act as the Product Manager for one or more Agile Release Trains (ARTs) within the SAFe framework. Guide and coach members of ARTs to ensure alignment with the product vision and strategy.

    Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with key stakeholders, including executives and cross-functional teams, to gather input, feedback, and requirements. Manage and prioritize stakeholder expectations while balancing business needs and technical constraints.

    Product Backlog Management: Define, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog, ensuring that user stories and features are well-defined, actionable, and aligned with the product vision.

    Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business value owners, enterprise architects, stakeholders, and end-users to gather and understand requirements, capturing both functional and non-functional aspects of the product.

    Prioritization: Work closely with stakeholders to prioritize backlog items based on value, business objectives, architecture objectives and customer needs.

    Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams, including Operations, Customer Fulfillment and other relevant departments, to ensure a smooth and efficient development process.

    Release Planning: Participate in release planning activities, defining release content, scope, and objectives. Ensure that development efforts are synchronized across teams and align with the overall product roadmap.

    Feature Development: Provide clear and detailed features and requirements to development teams, addressing any questions or ambiguities that arise during the development process.

    Feedback and Iteration: Collect and analyze user feedback, market trends, and performance metrics to make informed decisions about future product iterations and enhancements.

    Stakeholder Communication: Act as a bridge between the development teams, stakeholders, and leadership, providing regular updates on product progress, challenges, and opportunities.

    Risk Management: Identify potential risks and obstacles to successful product delivery and work proactively to address or mitigate them.

    Continuous Improvement: Participate in retrospectives and continuous improvement efforts, applying feedback and lessons learned to refine and enhance the product development process.

    Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.

    Qualified Experience/Skills/Training:

    Education:

    post secondary education in aeronautics, software engineering, business or any related field

    Experience :

    Solid experience in Aviation industry, noticeably Flight Operations

    Experience in SAFe as a product owner / product manager

    Knowledge, Skills, Demonstrated Capabilities & Competencies:

    Flight operations knowledge and experience

    Superior analytical and problem solving skills

    Customer focus and business acumen

    Ability to learn and grow

    Communication Skills:

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to interact effectively with different stakeholders
