    Description

    This is an exciting opportunity to join WTW's Aviation & Space team. The Account Manager - Aviation & Space is the person is responsible for securing the renewal of existing business with assigned aviation accounts and to maintain the relationship between the local offices and assigned clients. The Account Manager - Aviation & Space also monitors insurance and risk management needs, recommends appropriate coverage and contributes to the sales process with development of prospective with existing clients. The position requires and in-depth knowledge of the aviation insurance business, including knowledge of moderately complex placements. Travel and social interaction at industry events / meetings are also required.

    The Account Manager - Aviation & Space monitors insurance and risk management needs, recommends appropriate coverage, and ensures that technical specialists are brought in when necessary. The lead associate is also responsible for collections, record keeping, and quality of service provided to clients so that the assigned book of business is profitable.     The Role

    Additional Responsibilities:

  • Resolves problems using existing solutions.
  • Contributes to process improvements
  • Executes moderately complex placement and client management process
  • Contacts existing clients to ensure quality service is being delivered
  • Identifies and monitors insurance and risk management needs of prospective or current clients
  • Conducts needs assessment with current and potential customers
  • Facilitates new business through networking, prospecting and communicating with current clients
  • Identifies and presents appropriate services to client
  • Manages claims on behalf clients
  • Maintains extensive market relationships
  • Develops account strategies, presentations, and other forms of communication with client
  • Prepares and delivers underwriting submissions
  • Maintains account documentation and correspondence
  • Negotiates responsive programs and service agreement rates
  • Provides customer service, including resolving customer inquiries and problems
  • Establishes procedures for claims administration and loss prevention activity
