We have an opportunity in our Property, Planning & Development Department for a Project Scheduler to work with the program management team.

What You Will Do


You will be responsible for providing project management support by establishing, monitoring and updating multiple project schedules, and assisting with planning and implementation activities and participating in the implementation, as well as the ongoing business improvement of the Workplace Transformation Program.

Part of your responsibilities include collaborating with the other Internal Stream members to ensure the integration of project management tools and systems, as related to planning and scheduling.


As the incumbent you will baselining program and project plans to identify, develop, and implement benchmarking data, for the measurement and analysis of variances and root causes.

Developing and maintaining the Master Project Schedule; planning, coordinating, and monitoring scheduling activities (both performance to date and planned schedule activities).

As well as implementing changes to project schedules through effective change management processes and performing critical path/what-if/variance analysis Reporting schedule variances and recommending corrective action.


You will be attending meetings, including Risk identification and analysis meetings, contribute to the implementation plan and process, including timing, sequencing and staging of events.

Analyzing data to identify trends, continuous improvement opportunities, and risks to leverage and mitigate.

What Qualifications Do You Bring?
Completion of a post-secondary college diploma or university degree in a related technical or business discipline (e.g. project management), and progressive experience in planning and scheduling and/or project management; or a combination of education, training and experience deemed to be equivalent.

Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM or Project Management Professional (PMP) and or Certified Scheduling Technician (CST) would be an asset.

Sound knowledge of scheduling and planning principles, methods, procedures, and processes; good understanding of integration between project functions.

Sound knowledge and practical experience related to scheduling through the end-to-end project lifecycle, from project initiation, planning, executing, controlling, monitoring to closing.

Experience with all aspects of the Master Project Schedule and demonstrated experience with time impact analysis, what-if scenarios, and recovery schedules.

Understanding of both project owner and project execution requirements.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously to ensure that project schedules, milestones, and deadlines are met on a timely basis.

Well-developed organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills to manage large amounts of data.
Ability to review and evaluate recommendations proposed by others, exercising independent judgment to ensure consistency with business goals.

Effective interpersonal, communication (verbal and written), and influencing skills; demonstrated ability to maintain effective and collaborative work relationships with stakeholders.

Strong time management; ability to prioritize and balance competing demands in a deadline driven environment.
Promote a respectful work and service environment that supports diversity, inclusion, and is free from harassment and discrimination.
