    We have a current opening for a Coordinator, Diversity to join our dynamic Diversity Team

    What You Will Do

    Reporting to the Director Diversity, the Coordinator Diversity coordinates and ensures effective administrative and office/file management support, development, maintenance and administration of functions or programs. You will coordinate office operations/procedures to ensure organization and effectiveness; provide administrative support and assistance to departmental staff; and perform a variety of administrative duties related to the areas of responsibility. To this end you will coordinate special projects, reports, departmental budget/business plans, contract acquisitions, etc. and may supervise the activities of support staff. You will provide guidance, expertise and advice, and make recommendations for improvement regarding areas related to assigned work. Monitor, track and maintain information/data/ records/files, following up, and updating as required. You will prepare and/or assist in the preparation of documents, presentations, and reports, and distribute to the appropriate parties in accordance with established standards as required. You will be required to participate in the TTC's Customer Service Ambassador Program,

    What Qualifications Do You Bring?

    • Your educational background will include completion of a college diploma or university degree in a related discipline or combination of education, training and experience deemed to be equivalent is integral and will contribute to the success in this role.
    • Your application will demonstrate good working knowledge of the Ontario Human Rights Code, the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario's procedures, the Criminal Code, the Occupational Health and Safety Act, the Anti-Racism Act, and other relevant legislation.
    • Your good knowledge of budget preparation and budget control principles and practices is required.
