- Normal office hours are between 9:30 am to 4:00 pm (30 minutes unpaid break) Monday through Friday.
- Typical working location for this position – at the office located at Admin Department.
- The position requires traveling to kettle locations during kettle campaigns and to community events, food drives at other times of the year.

- Undertakes the preparations for the 2023 Kettle Campaign In Coordination with COs and Management Team ensure equipment and systems are ready for the campaignManages the work of a kettle campaign assistant (hosts at kettle, as required, to ensure necessary coverage for breaks, etc.)Support volunteer scheduling and kettle pick-up/drop-off, respond to emergency absencesLiaises with those involved in our ministry unit and community members hosting Kettles and Kettle locations and addresses conflicts/issues as they arise reporting to CE/VCMay assume responsibility for coordinating kettle counters and/or overseeing countingMaintains a positive image and relationship with The Army and CommunityMaintains cleans, organizes, itemizes, and stores equipment. Lists outstanding requirementsAll data entered and statistics submitted as required

- Completion or working towards a formal post-secondary/college/University program of two academic years in either, social services, business, economics, administration, and equivalent work experience.
- A minimum of two years of general related experience.
- An alternative combination of education and experience might be considered.
- Experience in project management, managing people/resources and communicating orally and in writing to stakeholders and/or funders.
- Knowledge of various administration procedures and practices
- Attention to detail, multi-tasking, problem solving and analytical skills
- Strong sense of integrity and confidentiality with professional ethics and a balanced sense of fairness and flexibility
- Demonstrated experience with social media tools
- Demonstrated knowledge of media landscape in BC
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Attentive listening (for supervision, counseling, conflict resolution, etc.)
- The incumbent directly supervises between 2-10 volunteers and indirectly supervises an unlimited number of volunteers
- Outstanding communication
- Computer and word processing proficiency
- Excellent writing and research skills
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines when faced with multiple requests for action from a variety of sources
- Background check consent
- Completion of our online Armatus Abuse Training and required Health and Safety training
