    Role Responsibilities

    Join our dedicated team at Alberta Forestry and Parks, where your expertise in policy development will guide the sustainable management of Alberta's public Lands. As a lead in rangeland management, you will harness your leadership skills to oversee complex multi-stakeholder policy projects.

    This role is pivotal in maintaining and nurturing strategic alliances that promote shared stewardship of our rangelands. You will engage with various ministries, identifying synergies and developing unified strategies to enhance agricultural management on public land.

    Your influence to shape policies and tools, with creative solutions will balance ecological stewardship with the economic needs of our community, navigating the complex interplay of environmental concerns, and emerging indigenous interests. This role demands a high degree of empathy and advanced problem-solving skills to develop policies that support rangeland policy ensuring Alberta remains a leader in environmentally responsible land management.
