Technical Service Coordinator - Industrial Refrigeration


In this role, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day service activities (maintenance contracts, service calls, mechanical overhauls, small installations) for our industrial refrigeration department, which has 15 technicians.


This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week, with advantageous working conditions including benefits (insurance, support program...) and a particularly generous pension fund.


You will ensure responsibility for:


  • Planning and deployment of preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Dispatch of technicians in the context of service calls in accordance with their skills.
  • Ensure that work orders are completed and forwarded to the right people.
  • To verify and enter the technicians' hours worked in the computerized management system for the weekly payroll.
  • Participate in the procurement and supply of parts necessary for the technicians' interventions.
  • Coordinate training needs for technicians and if necessary for customers.
  • In the performance of your duties, you will collaborate consistently with the sales, invoicing, accounts payable and management teams.

Requirements:


  • Technically inclined (knowledge of mechanical/HVAC systems is an asset)
  • Experience in dispatching/scheduling an asset
  • 1 to 2 years of work experience in team coordination function
  • Proficient in MS Office suite, especially Excel
  • Mastery of the use of the computer for business purposes in general
  • Strong communication skills in French and ability to communicate in English in a customer service context.
