Derived from the French word convivialité, it means human connection, authenticity, friendly, and jovial. Responsible for all core processes related to North America treasury operations.Performs day-to-day treasury activities to meet financial obligations of the North American companies: including those related to cash flow forecasts, borrowings and currency requirements, cash and forecast reporting requirements.
Allocates and manages cash balances locally and within local banking structures, as well as managing daily cash-on hand needs within Pernod Ricard parameters.
Key liaison with HQ Treasury team, located in Paris, for routine and daily matters. Communicating short-term forecasts and daily cash needs. Responsible for maintaining compliance with Pernod Ricard treasury guidelines.Knowledgeable of treasury best practices and internal controls over treasury operations. Ensure policies and procedures meet the organization's objectives and needs. Maintains bank documentation and responsible for account maintenance, including administration and security for banking applications. Key liaison for local banking relationships – trouble shooting issues and assessing new business needs.
Responsible for developing short-term cash forecasts within a complex account structure for North American entities, working with larger accounting team to gather input and improve accuracy

This is a contract position for approximately 12-18 months.
OHSA - Ensure compliance of Occupational Health & Safety Act (section 25, 26, 27, and 28) per Hiram Walker & Son's Ltd Policy- Management-Supervision-Worker Safety Responsibilities.
Daily banking transactions including prior day reporting, payment releases (manual wires, tax payments, electronic file transfers) and regular bank deposits.
Responsible for the daily cash disbursement issue resolution with our banking partners.Develops reports and maintains templates within our banking applications.
Leads banking related change initiatives (new bank accounts or services), working with bank, Finance and IT to develop test plans and documentation
Prepares and monitors daily cash flow forecasts for all entities.
Prepares bank confirmations for all bank accounts for annual audit and other audit support.
Responsible for updating bank documentation (signature cards, banking resolutions, service documentation) for all bank accounts to ensure that deletions and additions are handled in a timely manner.
Completes month end treasury close process for Canadian entities.Support GL team with transactional data, reports and ad-hoc requests as needed
Technical savvy - ability to understand and clearly articulate business processes to IT personnel in order to resolve system issues
~ Strong knowledge of accounting procedures and controls related to cash and treasury best practices
~ Proficient in Microsoft Office software and JDE Enterprise One. 5-6 years' experience in a Finance environment
~ Must be able to deliver high quality results to a strict timetable, organized and awareness of deadlines. Overtime required at month end and during projects
