Responsibilities

  • Comprehension of process improvement methodology and problemsolving techniques (E.g. Lean management, Process Standardization, Waste Reduction, Process
  • Mapping, Kaizen and Continuous Improvement, etc.).
  • Knowledge of problemsolving methodologies along with understanding of change and risk management processes.
  • Handson knowledge of data modelling and data analysis.
  • General knowledge of operations strategy and expertise in a specific industry (i.e., private sector, healthcare, manufacturing, construction, warehousing and distribution, supply chain, hospitality, etc.)
  • Actively participate in client engagements focused on analysis and understanding of the client's current state and problems, identifying improvement opportunities based on addressing root causes, and creating business cases and implementation roadmaps to enable and support executive decisionmaking.
  • Work with front line management and staff on client site to influence and change behaviors that align with improvement objectives.
  • Maintain flexibility to travel, as necessary (less than 20%)
  • Actively participate in engagements and work collaboratively with client personnel from analysis through to implementation on a broad range of industry specific initiatives.
  • Work with client teams through the engagement lifecycle leveraging project and change management expertise. Produce finding reports for the client's and MNP's Project Manager review during the analysis and implementation process.

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, economics, or other related fields.
  • 1 to 3 years of Engineering, Specialist, Analyst, and/or Jr Project Management experience.
  • CMC, PMP, or other related certifications are considered an asset.
  • Previous consulting experience, ideally in a clientservice environment is considered an asset.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A Lean Six Sigma certification is considered an asset.
  • Knowledge and ability to read and understand financial statements is considered an asset.
  • Good MS-Excel skills in data analysis and model development.
  • Experience in Power BI considered an asset.
  • Must own a vehicle as a means for reliable transportation to and from client site.
  • Production process analysis skills (time studies, value added/nonvalueadded time analysis, line balancing etc.)
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
