About The Role:


Reporting to the Service Manager, Electrical, the Service Technician is responsible for service calls, small projects, business development and quoting assistance, and project work where applicable.

The Service Technician is responsible for executing personal work at a high level of quality and managing customer communication, personal and site safety, customer experience, and vendor relationships to ensure a high level of performance.


Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Travel to a variety of customer sites in different industries to execute planned maintenance and/or respond to emergency service calls, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair (or schedule for repair);
  • Maintain the highest possible standard in all customer communication setting expectations and managing the customer experience throughout;
  • Manage larger installations from beginning to end (i.e. startup and commissioning, prestartup inspections, equipment turnover);
  • Ensure all necessary documentation is completed in a timely manner to improve invoicing and accounting efficiency;
  • Effectively balance prioritization of Customer Satisfaction and the Speed of Service Guarantee.

What You Bring:

Our Must Haves

  • Successfully obtained your Red Seal Electrician certification;
  • Hold a valid Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driver's abstract;
  • Committed to customer service and going the extra mile while servicing clients;
  • Ability to think on your feet and utilize strong problemsolving capabilities;
  • Experience working in forestry, mining, or natural resources industries will be considered an asset.
