    Your Role

    As a Data Analyst reporting to the Manager of Data Governance and Engineering, you will play a key role in supporting data governance, engineering, and analytics solutions to drive the firm's strategic decision-making process. The ideal candidate will be data-driven with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    Working hours are flexible from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with occasional overtime if needed. This role is primarily remote, with some on-site meetings in Toronto for collaboration. You will work closely with the Analytics team spread across different offices.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    Master Data Maintenance

    • Update various business fields in the ERP system
    • Conduct quality assurance checks
    • Manage Master Data change requests

    Data Governance

    • Review data quality
    • Participate in data initiatives
    • Monitor Data Architecture and quality

    Data Engineering

    • Develop PySpark Notebooks for data transformation
    • Assist in setting up and monitoring data pipelines

    Development & Analytics

    • Create and enhance monitoring reports and dashboards
    • Process internal information requests
    • Handle ad hoc projects

      • Required Knowledge and Experience:

      • Bachelor's degree in math, statistics, engineering, computer science, or related field
      • 1-3 years of relevant experience
      • Intermediate Transact-SQL skills
      • Knowledge of SQL Data Structure
      • Experience with Python and Microsoft platforms
      • Strong skills in Microsoft 365 applications
