    Unlock the potential of data at Lightspeed! We're looking for a sharp Data Analyst to join our team and act as the crucial link between data and business operations. As part of our Data Office, you will work closely with the Business team to apply your data expertise and enhance data standards throughout the organization.

    Role:

    • Gain a deep understanding of our business processes, systems, and data architecture to drive operational excellence within your Pod (Business and data domain).
    • Influence the data roadmap of your Pod and collaborate with the Data Strategy team to shape the wider Data Office roadmap, contributing to streamlining data processes.
    • Spot and advocate for opportunities to improve processes, systems, and data flows within your Pod, enabling data-informed decisions that drive business growth.
    • Create exploratory data models using various data sources, supporting business partners with insightful datasets, reports, and dynamic dashboards.
    • Maintain and ensure data quality, investigating discrepancies, documenting findings, and promoting continuous enhancement.
    • Work with the Data Office to set and uphold data standards and best practices across the organization.

    What you'll bring to the team:

    • Demonstrated experience in an analytical role emphasizing data operations and process enhancement.
    • Background in Finance, Accounting, Revenue Operations (RevOps), or Sales is a plus.
    • Proficiency in SQL and a willingness to adapt to new tools and data systems.
    • Strong business acumen and the ability to connect technical challenges with business strategies.
    • Enjoy tackling complex issues through thorough research, analysis, and innovative solutions.
    • Attentive to data precision and skilled at detecting anomalies.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex problems effectively.
    • Familiarity with GCP, BigQuery, Dataform, Looker, GitHub, and Salesforce is advantageous.
    • Strong organizational skills, self-driven approach, and the capability to lead projects independently in a fast-paced setting.
