    Description

    Data Analyst

    On behalf of our client in the Banking Sector, PROCOM is looking for a Data Analyst.

    Data Analyst – Job Description

    • Develop and maintain Reports for the Cyber Security Operations Team to enable informed business decisions
    • Participate in security compliance and audit efforts
    • Coordinate actions to be taken by different areas for audit
    • Attend meetings to Identify security issues and risks, and develop mitigation plans Architect, design, implement, support, and evaluate security-focused tools and services including project leadership roles
    • Develop and interpret security policies and procedures
    • Develop and deliver training materials and perform general security awareness and specific security technology training
    • Evaluate and recommend new and emerging security products and technologies

    Data Analyst – Mandatory Skills

    • 2+ years of recent hands-on Power BI visualization experience with the ability to create reports and dashboards to present to executives
    • 2+ years of recent hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel for reporting capabilities
    • Ability to work within a fast-paced environment, working on ad- hoc requests and compiling data for reports
    • Demonstrated knowledge of one or more key information service standards such as SDLC, ITIL, QA/testing, Project Management, Six Sigma, etc.
    • Strong PC skills including knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint
    • Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills to be able to work well with technical peers and business stakeholders at different levels within the organization
    • Excellent interpersonal skills to be able to collaborate and work closely with external vendors
    • Ability to analyze complex situations and problems and do the necessary research using multiple sources of information to arrive at innovative solutions
    • Ability to work as part of a team, as well as work independently or with minimal direction
    • Good time management and organizational skills to effectively manage high scale projects
    • Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required

    Data Analyst - Nice to Have Skills

    • Previous experience with Cybersecurity is a strong asset but not a must-have requirement
    • CISSP certificate is an asset
    • Previous FI or Banking experience

    ASAP – 5 months to start
