Come join the multi award-winning dealership Peterbilt Manitoba Ltd. Sales Department. We are immediately seeking a Yard Coordinator for our Sales Department at our newly expanded Winnipeg West location.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Yard Coordinator will act as a sales liaison for the sales department, and will be a driven and focused individual who will demonstrate strong problem solving and decision-making skills.

Must be physically fit and have an eye for detail. Also must be able to demonstrate team leadership skills and delegate work to other staff.

Duties:

Plan and coordinate all truck movement activities.
Truck washing and detailing.
Checking in New trucks.
Inspect used trucks and enter into Sales Force (software program).
Arrange and plan the delivery of new and used trucks.
Bring trucks to outside vendors because of decals, frame painting, body damage repair.
Setup and position truck for pictures (Marketing).
Assign and coordinate daily tasks to staff (Drivers, Wash Bay and Truck detail staff).
Submit addons for used truck services to be done in shop.
Liaison between sales and other internal departments.
Oversee yard conditions and manage snow/ice removal activities.
Represent the Sales Support group on the Health and Safety Committee.
Manage Key Vault.
Manage dealer plates.
Manage getting truck pictures for annual calendar.
Attend to sales customers when salesmen are not available

Qualifications:

Grade 12 Diploma or GED Equivalent.
Must have basic knowledge and be capable of learning new computer skills.
Valid Class 1 driver's licence.
Physically fit and able to lift 50 lbs.; must have own steeltoe boots.
Work effectively in all weather conditions.
Must be customer service oriented and be able to lead a team.
Have excellent communication skills; verbal and written.
Problem solver; organized and excellent time management skills.
